The Lithuanian-founded crowdfunding platform InRento, specializing in financing buy-to-let projects in Lithuania, Poland, and Ireland, continues to demonstrate sustainable and rapid growth. In just over a year, the platform has doubled the total amount of financed investments volume while maintaining a high quality of financed projects.

"The first EUR 20 million was raised through consistent efforts over approximately 4 years, reaching this milestone by early 2024. Over the past 12 months, we have doubled this amount to EUR 41 million. This indicates that investors are satisfied, and their confidence in the platform is growing due to its stability and the monthly interest payments. As the total funded investments grow, so does the amount of monthly interest paid out. In February, we reached a new symbolic milestone – investors received more than EUR 250,000 in interest, with not a single delayed project", – says Deividas Urbanovičius, Head of Investor Relations at InRento.

Over the past 6 months, the monthly interest paid to investors has steadily increased: in September 2024, it reached EUR 177,000, and by February this year, it had grown to EUR 254,000. In total, investors on the platform have earned EUR 3.6 million in interest. Interest to investors is paid monthly, and the invested amount is returned upon project realisation, according to the InRento representative.

The average annual return on realized projects currently stands at 12.9%, with many projects yielding higher returns than initially planned due to capital gains and indexed interest rates.

According to D. Urbanovičius, despite various economic and geopolitical challenges over nearly five years of platform operations, InRento has 35 fully realised projects in the portfolio. Moreover, the platform is not limited to the Lithuanian market – it has successfully expanded into Poland and Ireland, with its investment portfolio continuing to grow. This stability and ongoing expansion have been key factors in attracting an increasing investor community, which now consists of nearly 3,500 active investors (those who have made investments). A significant share of these investors comes from the European Union.

Sustainable Growth and International Expansion

One of InRento’s key goals this year is to further strengthen its position in international markets. In 2024, the platform became the largest crowdfunding platform for buy-to-let projects in Poland, surpassing local competitors. Last year, the company also entered the Irish market, where its first project attracted significant investor demand.

"The Polish market is of strategic importance to us, and in 2024, the total value of projects financed in Poland surpassed EUR 4 million. We see great potential to further strengthen our position here, especially considering the increasing investor demand in diversification", – says D. Urbanovičius.

Additionally, in 2024, the company opened its first international office in Warsaw. By 2025, more than 50% of all projects financed on the platform are expected to be located abroad.

Investing involves the risk of losing some or all of the amount invested, so it is advisable to diversify your investments and invest responsibly.
