The Lithuanian buy-to-let crowdfunding platform InRento has already realised 57 projects with principal investments repaid, totalling a value of EUR 12.3 million. All of these investments were returned to investors on time and without any delays.

"Each euro repaid reflects the trust that investors have placed in us, and this trust has proven to be successful. We are pleased to see this confidence growing not only in Lithuania but also internationally — we are rapidly expanding our investor community abroad and financing new investment projects in Poland, Italy, and Ireland," says Bernardas Preikšaitis, COO of InRento.

In Poland alone, three projects were successfully realised this year, generating higher-than-expected returns and being realised earlier than the deadlines specified in the contracts. Notably, one of the projects was an apartment complex located in Krynica-Zdrój, the country's largest spa resort. The project's yield exceeded expectations, reaching 12.35% instead of the planned 11.5%.

This year, InRento offered investors the opportunity to finance investment projects in Warsaw, Poznań, and Kraków, which are among the strongest real estate hubs in the country.

According to the COO of InRento, a key reason Poland is attractive to investors is its low interest rates.

"Poland is not a member of the eurozone and pursues an independent monetary policy; thus, its 6-month interbank interest rate (WIBOR – around 5.3%) is significantly higher than in the eurozone (EURIBOR – around 2.05%). Inflation in Poland is also higher, at around 4%, compared to the eurozone average of around 2%. The economy is more sensitive to risks and currency fluctuations, so borrowing in Poland is relatively more expensive. This means that investors have more opportunities to earn from their investments in rental properties", explains B. Preikšaitis.

This year, investors have financed projects totalling over EUR 6.2 million outside Lithuania, accounting for 45% of the portfolio. This highlights InRento's strategic focus on geographical diversification, emphasising the importance of spreading investments across different markets to reduce risk. In 2024, the company opened an office in Warsaw, which further strengthened its position in the Polish market.

"Everyone who invests in our platform has the opportunity to create a passive income flow. The platform's investors have already received a total return of EUR 12.3 million on their investments and EUR 5.22 million in interest payments, which proves the effectiveness of our model," says B. Preikšaitis.
